Sermon Notes | April 17, 2016
Title: Life is a Mission
Speaker: Gabe Coyle

JESUS ALWAYS SENDS WHOM HE CALLS
JESUS ALWAYS SENDS US INTO OPPOSITION
CONVERSATION STARTERS
Conversation Starters are one way we at Christ Community seek to dig deeper into the current sermon and biblical text. Whether you’re using these individually, as part of a family, or Community Group, please take some time to work through the Bible passages and ask the questions provided.

REVISIT THE TEXT (see above).

ICE BREAKER: Think about the question posed in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty: “Have you done anything noteworthy or mentionable”? How would you answer that question?

LOOKING BACK: What captured your attention in last week’s sermon? What did God teach you?

NAMING HEROES: Can you think of someone you know who lives life on mission? What do you admire about her or him? What can we learn from their example?

UNCOMFORTABLE MOMENTS: Recall a time you were uncomfortable because of your faith. What were the circumstances? How did you respond to your feelings? Is there anything you would do differently?

LOOKING FORWARD: How often do you consider the fact that God has intentionally sent you to the places and people where you live and work? Does knowing you’ve been sent change how you plan to act and engage in those spaces?

PRAY.
