Another way to say it is: 31 Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” NIV

JESUS PROVIDES REST
1. The Weary Servant
There are people in this church on the verge of burning out.

God offers you rest. The more work you do for Jesus the more fellowship you need with him

a. Retreat into His word
b. Focus on your relationship with Christ through prayer
c. Seek clarity on how to go forward

2. The Seeker of Comfort
There are people in the church who aren’t tired from ministry because they do none.

Jesus provides rest, but you must be tired

Because they were like sheep without a shepherd.

And he began to teach them many things.

Jesus Provides Truth

Jesus Provides Life

For the weary: Jesus says Come to me all who are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

For you who are not tired: Get to work!

For the hungry: Come and eat of the bread of Life.
