Fill eggs with candy: take home pre-bagged empty eggs and fill with candy. We have over 4,000 eggs to fill for the children. Filled eggs should be returned by April 2. Bags are available next to the Guest Center.

Invite: your River 5, family, friends and neighbors by using our special Egg-vitations! Each Egg-vitation kit contains 5 invitations to the Egg Drop. Pick up your Egg-vitations next to the fireplace.

We are inviting every student in 6th-8th grade and their friends to join us once again in going to Christ in Youth’s Believe conference on April 8-9 at Anderson University in Anderson, IN. This high energy, worship filled conference is specifically designed for Junior High students. This year’s theme is Open and will be talking about how to be generous in every way. Your student will not just get some amazing worship and teaching, but will also have an amazing time as well. The cost is $105 which includes admission to CIY Believe, transportation as well as a overnight stay in a hotel. The River church will be supporting the Interfaith Hospitality ministry in Monroe on March 24. Along with hosting dinner, our opportunity to serve includes providing lunch supplies like fresh fruit, chips and packaged desserts for the preceding week. The families in the program pack a lunch to take with them to work or the Day Center. Any donations of lunch supplies would be greatly appreciated, and should be brought to the church by Sunday, March 19. A sign up sheet will be at the fireplace. We have a great opportunity for someone to serve as our Interfaith Hospitality lead volunteer. The River Church teams with Our Lady of Sorrow Church in Monroe four times a year to serve five homeless families in the Interfaith system.

The commitment involves providing and serving an Italian meal on Friday night, hanging out with the families in the evening, staying overnight at Our Lady of Sorrows in Monroe, and serving a hot breakfast in the morning before the families go back to the Day Center on Saturday morning. We get there by 5pm on Friday to serve dinner and are done by 9am on Saturday morning, and it's only a quarterly commitment. The River Church is scheduled to serve Saturday, March 25, from 9:45am-noon at Serve City in Hamilton. All you need to do is arrive at 9:45am and you will be shown how you can help. Serve City is a food pantry that reaches out to needy families in our area. They are located at 622 East Avenue, Hamilton.

The Guatemala mission trip team is selling The Cone gift cards again! If you buy a $20 gift card then we get $10 applied to our trip. A $20 gift card buys $20 worth of ice cream! Amy Frazee will be over by the mission wall today or you can buy from any team member. Please remember that all mission trips (Haiti and Guatemala) are 100% funded by donations. Do you love to worship and make a joyful noise? Are you gifted vocally? We are always looking for people to join us in singing with the Easter Sunday choir! We will have two rehearsals, Monday April 3rd at 7:00pm and Saturday April 15th at 11:00am.
