Force the First

There are two major keys to staying in the Zone:
1. Faith and 2. Obedience.

If you want to follow God, there is no way God is going to get in your way.

Faith means trusting that God’s best is our best.

Obedience is living in submission to another’s authority.

The top 2 reasons we fail to bring our tithes and offerings is because:
1. We are afraid we won’t be able to get what we need/want.
2. That the money won’t be properly used.

God calls us to Faith and Trust demonstrated by Obedience.

We put our faith in God, we trust that He will do what He says He will do, and then we take the steps that God leads us to take!

Why does God care how you handle your money? Because God wants good things for you.

The Biblical teaching on finances is not a salvation issue, but it is a heart issue.

God is more concerned about your heart than your wallet, but he knows your wallet often rules your heart.

Do Christians have to tithe?

God not only wants us to trust that He will provide, He wants us to trust Him by living the lives He has called us to live.

BUDGET - Tell your money where to go and what to do.

DUMP DEBT - Get rid of all unnecessary debt and work to avoid acquiring more.

Sell things you don’t need.

Cancel unnecessary expenditures.

Find a debt retirement plan and commit to it.

Get help.

The first step in living life in the zone is to follow Jesus.
