2 Corinthians 4:14-18 NASB1995
Blessing: You Touch the Power of God (Romans 1:16)
· You and I cannot convert the lost - only God can
· But God has chosen to work His power through us (2 Corinthians 4:7)
· God’s eternal power at work through us!
Blessing: You Experience the Joy of Obedience (Mark 1:14-17)
· The first directive he gave His disciples was about living on mission – reaching the lost
· The last directive Jesus gave His disciples was about living on mission – reaching the lost
· During the 10 recorded appearances of Jesus after the resurrection He is recorded to have talked about evangelism at least on five of those occasions
· In a busy life of service, it is easy to settle for what’s good
· There is such JOY in knowing you’re being obedient to the thing which is so important to Jesus!!
Blessing: You Impact Eternity (2 Corinthians 4:14-18)
· Evangelism is not something which merely concerns today or tomorrow, it impacts eternity!
· Those we lead to Him will be our gifts of praise to the Lord as we spend eternity with them (1 Thessalonians 2:19)
Blessing: You Multiply your Ministry (2 Corinthians 4:15)
· Each person you lead to Christ can multiply your ministry as they share with others
· Making disciples by sharing your faith and training others multiplies your ministry
· It is exciting to know that only when we get to heaven will we be able to understand all that the Lord has done through us
Blessing: You Can Participate, No Matter Who You Are (Acts 1:8)
· To do certain jobs within the body of Christ you need
· The Lord puts each of us in places to reach some with the gospel that others can’t reach
