· Jesus conformed His will to the will of the Heavenly Father

· Jesus did this by putting himself in a position to hear what the Father says

Judge: To pronounce an opinion of what is right and wrong

Jesus did not have an opinion that was His own, or an opinion that could be influenced by anyone but what He heard from His Father.

Mark 13:31 ESV

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Yahweh, your word is settled in heaven forever.

· There are pillars that your life is built on, one of them is hearing.

· Hearing helps determine your mindset, thoughts, understanding & what you believe or have an opinion of.

· Your Judgment is based on what you hear and listen to.

Mark 4:24, 25 WEB

He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you, and more will be given to you who hear.25 For whoever has (taken heed tow what they hear), to him will more be given, and he who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.”

Take Heed: Greek word “Blepo”

To be aware, to discern, to understand, to perceive

· Whatever you take heed and hear, you will receive more of.

· Whatever you have received was from what you take heard and listened to.

· Your life is a product of what you take heed to hear.

· When you don’t take heed to what you hear, what you have will be taken from you.

Jesus taught in the parable of the sower that it is how the seed of the word is heard and received, determines its fruitfulness and results.

Mark 4:23 NKJV

If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

Revelation 3:20-22 NLT

20 “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. 21 Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. 22 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.”

It is important that you hear & take heed to what the Word has to say concerning everything.

The Word of God is God’s measuring rod and standard.

What are you hearing & taking heed to concerning health, money, politics & government, family, sex, love, marriage, pleasure, pain or success?

You as a disciple of Christ need to be immersed in what the bible says about everything.

When you are immersed in the Word, your opinion and judgment will be the same as Jesus , The Father & the Holy Spirit

Immersion means you are saturated and soaked.

When you are saturated and soaked in hearing God’s word, faith will always come!

Romans 10:17 KJV

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Psalm 34:2 WEB

My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear (of it,) and be glad.

The humble shall “Shama”

The greatest commandment is to Shama.

Shama: To hear, listen, follow & obey

Hear oh Israel the Lord is One Lord.

· When you take heed what you hear, you will be careful not to listen to doubt, unbelief, fear & negativity

Mark 12:28-29 NIV

28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

An example of what can happen when you hear negativity, fear & things that don’t align with God’s word.

12 spies go to check out the promised land God had already promised was theirs to possess!

Numbers 13:31-33 NKJV

31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” 32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. 33 There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

Numbers 14:1-4 NKJV

So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! 3 Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” 4 So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.”

The punishment for hearing and believing the negative fearful report was 40 years in the wilderness and none of the doubters possessing their promised possession.

The people did not take heed to what they heard from God, instead they took heed to the doubt, fear & negativity of the majority of leaders.

Isaiah 53:1 HCSB

Who has believed what we have heard? And who has the arm of the LORD been revealed to?

· God’s power is revealed and demonstrated when you believe what you hear Him speak!

Take Heed to what you hear God speaking!

Psalm 1:1-3 TLV

1 Happy is the one who has not walked in the advice of the wicked,nor stood in the way of sinners,

nor sat in the seat of scoffers.

2 But his delight is in the Torah of Adonai,

and on His Torah he meditates day and night.

3 He will be like a planted tree over streams of water,

producing its fruit during its season.

Its leaf never droops— but in all he does, he succeeds.

Proverbs 3:34 ISV

Though God scoffs at scoffers, he gives grace to the humble.

· Don’t waste your time arguing or sitting with those who are scornful.

· You don’t have time to hear that negativity. Your ears were made to hear God’s Word and respond His Voice.

· Take Heed what you hear!

Acts 17:11APBE

For those Jews who were there were nobler than those Jews who were in Thessalonica, and they were hearing gladly from the word every day while they were distinguishing from Scripture whether these things were so.

Acts 8:14-17 NIV

14When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria. 15When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, 16because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

The people of Samaria had humbly received the word of God this caused the Apostles to send Peter and Josh to introduce them to the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13-15 TLV

13 But when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; but whatever He hears, He will tell you. And He will declare to you the things that are to come. 14 He will glorify Me, because He will take from what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 Everything that the Father has is Mine. For this reason I said the Ruach will take from what is Mine and declare it to you.”

· As God’s church in these last days builds on the pillar of hearing, the Holy Spirit will reveal more of Jesus Word to His church.

· When we hear and do the will of God, the church will be the blessing it was intended by the Father

Application Action Points:

1. Put yourself in a position like Jesus to hear what the Father says.

· EVERYONE NEEDS A PRIVATE TIME WITH GOD’S WORD DAILY

· CONFORM YOUR WILL AND OPINION’S TO GOD’S WORD

· IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE WORD OF GOD

2.ELIMINATE THE

· DON’T ARGUE OR SIT WITH SCOFFERS

· HUMBLE YOURSELF TO HEAR AND RECEIVE GOD’S GRACE

· GOD’S POWER IS REVEALED TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE GOD’ WORD

3.YOU NEEED TO BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

HE WILL LEAD AND GUIDE YOU

HE WILL REVEAL MORE AND MORE OF GOD’S WORD TO YOU
