Pain. Anxiety. Frustration. Our struggles don't always have answers in the moment—but even when we can't see it, they always have a purpose. When we’re going through trials, it’s tempting to look at our lives with a perspective of pain. But there’s a purpose in your pain. God never wastes a hurt. He’s preparing you for something far greater through the trials, struggles, and pain you’re experiencing now.

Things to think about this week:
• Think about a time when you were treated unjustly. How does this experience affect how you treat others?
• Read Isaiah 10:1-3. Based on these verses, what is God’s opinion of injustice and those who are guilty of it?
• Have you ever been forgiven a consequence you deserved? Do you have the inner strength to show mercy to others?
• Who makes a better friend: a humble person or an arrogant person? Why?
