The Importance of the Words We Speak
James 3:1-18 (HCSB)
1. We will be judged for the words we speak. (v. 1-2)
2.Our words have great power. (v. 3-5)
3.Our words are an instrument of God or an instrument of Satan. (v. 6)
4.It is not easy to control the words we speak. (v. 7-8)
5.We cannot separate what we say about God and what we say about people. (v. 9-12)
6. In order to gain victory over the words we speak we must submit our tongues to God. (v. 13-18)
