The Church chose deacons to solve a problem
Deacon Qualifications (Acts 6:3):
1. “of good repute”
2. “full of the Spirit”
3. “and of wisdom”
The positive effect of good deacon ministry (Acts 6:7):
1. “And the word of God continued to increase”
2. “And the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem”
3. “And a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith”
