Living Sanctuary - Pentecost Sunday

Living Sanctuary - Pentecost Sunday

Flower Mound First Baptist has been making much of Jesus in the Timber Creek area for over 30 years. Every week we gather to magnify Christ in word & deed, mature as Christ-followers, and multiply and make disciples for Christ. Our garden is a living parable of the Good Gardener's work in and through us.

BIG IDEA / / We do not just go to church; we are the church -- God's Living Sanctuary.
What makes us a living sanctuary?
1. Body of Christ - You're part of something bigger than you are.
Your S.H.A.P.E. brings vitality to the body of Christ so we become a living sanctuary.

-- S : Spiritual Gifts
-- H : Heart
-- A : Abilities
-- P : Personality
-- E : Experiences
2. Baptism of the Spirit - You're being refreshed from something eternal.
WHAT'S NEXT? Be God's Living Sanctuary where people can know God and make him known.

As we say every week, giving is an act of worship. It’s how we acknowledge that God owns everything we have and that he has appointed us as stewards. Small Group Live

WEDNESDAY AT 6.30P / / In this season, we're gathering outdoors under a tree. It's safe and we can share life with one another in a safe, socially distant way. It enables us to study God's Word and pray for one another. Grab your Bible + a lawn chair and join us this week.
