Mission Hills Church

Explicit | Father Abraham

Explicit | Father Abraham

Your past doesn't disqualify you from God's love or His plans. The Bible is filled with stories of very messy lives re-purposed for incredible good. Unfortunately, we often edit out the more explicit parts of these stories...but not in this series. We're going to tell it like the Bible tells it, because the more real we are about the mess, the more hope we have that God loves us and can use us. (Don't worry...we know kids will be present and we'll keep it tasteful!)

Welcome to Mission Hills!

Mission Hills is a church family—a family who wants to extend to you the same love, hope, and joy that we have received. We know that we cannot be all things to all people. But we do want to be one thing to all people. We want to be the place where anyone, of any age, of any level of spiritual maturity, of any economic class, of any ethnicity, of any church background—or no church background—can meet God in a way that transforms their life…forever!

If you are a first time guest, we would love to meet you! Salvation depends on Who we believe, not how we behave.
How we behave reflects on Who we believe.
Reflection Questions:

1. Is there something I need to leave behind because it’s keeping me from moving forward?
2. What blessings do I need to invest for others’ benefit?
3. What small compromises am I making that need to be stopped?
4. What circumstances do I see as a problem for God’s promises?
5. Has God provided something I need to lean into even though its become difficult?
6. Am I looking to my behavior or to my belief for salvation?
