1. When you are in a crisis, remember God’s faithfulness.
2.When you doubt you are good enough, remember God’s faithfulness.
3.When you are tempted to sin, remember God’s faithfulness.
· “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one” (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
· “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).
4.When you have made a mess of your life, remember God’s faithfulness.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
5. When you are in an impossible situation, remember God’s faithfulness.
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23 NIV)
Lamentations 3:40-41:
40 Let us examine and probe our ways,
and turn back to the Lord.
41 Let us lift up our hearts and our hands
to God in heaven:
Jeremiah comes to a place of...
· Review. “Examine and probe our ways” (vs. 40a)
· Repentance. “and turn back to the Lord.” (vs. 40b)
· Rejoicing. “lifting our hearts and hands to God in heaven.” (vs. 41)
