In light of the days in which we live, the challenge before us is to renew our commitment to love our brothers and sisters in Christ. In his challenge to his readers, Peter highlights 3 aspects of the love which should be evident among us.
II. The properties of Love

- Familiar
- Mutual
- Deep
- Constant
Conclusion: The end of all things is near…Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Remember to Pray: That Maynard B. will experience improved eyesight following his recent surgery...for Ben, Erin, Lydia and Audrey H. as they continue to get to know one another...for dry weather so that our farmers can complete their spring planing...that restrictions on our freedom of movement and gathering will be loosened sooner rather than later...for those planning for this year's VVBS (Virtual Vacation Bible School)...that all those in our congregation who fall into the 'at risk' demographic will be able to steer clear of the coronavirus...for those who have or who are anticipating a loss of income as 'non-essential' businesses remain closed through the end of the month....for our missionaries who are experiencing the challenges presented by Covid-19 in places far removed from their family support systems.
This Memorial Day let's remember to those from the DCC family who are serving our nation in the U.S. military: Dalton H, Nikolas H, and Chase V.
A Baptism Service is being planned for later in the summer. If you or your child would like to give public expression to your faith in Christ through baptism, please contact Pastor Neal.
