POINT 1: SERVE OTHERS.
POINT 2: WORK HARD AND GET ORGANIZED
POINT 3: SAVE MONEY
POINT 4: FORGIVE OTHERS
Start Talking
Find a conversation starter for your group:
• Think of a time that you experienced a season of crisis in your life. Maybe you are in that season of crisis right now. Briefly share.
Start Thinking
Meditate on or talk through these questions to help you think:
• Have you experienced times of things going badly while you are trying to do good things and help others?
• In what ways do you relate to the story of Joseph and the struggles and crisis he found himself in?
• Have you ever felt like you are being left behind in your work/career? Share.
• What are some ways you can save some money during your crisis?
Start Praying
Be bold and pray with power:
• Father, thank You for being a present help in my time of crisis! Please lead me to look beyond my own needs in my time of crisis and begin to serve others. Help me to work hard and get organized and save money in this season. And, Lord, give me the strength and faith to forgive others that have done wrong to me. In Jesus' name, amen.
Start Doing
Commit to a step and live it out this week:
• What opportunities do you have to serve others in your time of crisis?
• In what ways can you work hard and get organized in your home and in your work?
• What are some ways you can save some money during your crisis?
• Think of a broken relationship or friendship in your life. Take the step of faith to forgive them during this season of crisis.
