Quote:

"…children do not grow continuously each day as the growth charts suggest. Instead, babies grow in fits and starts, with such long intervals between growth spikes that about 90 percent of the time they are not growing at all… The sudden growth in length, height and head circumference occurs within hours…" (Dr. Michelle Lampl)
Sub Point:

Foot binding was the ancient Chinese custom of applying painfully tight binding to the feet of young girls to prevent further growth.
Main Point:

We will navigate a Godly growth spurt by:

#1 Embracing some change.
Challenge:

Let God get so involved, that life gets somewhat complicated.
Sub Point:

When it comes to the best care, it often takes some organizational depth.
Sub Point:
-Walk Thru the Bible already has 100 people signed up!
-As a result Kids Club Christmas Party, a family is attending regularly.
-Judy joined a group and feels like she has found community.
-Tony gave a financial donation to Vineyard!
-Keith gets his hair cut by Bay sister in law. Her husband started asking about God, which he has never done before.
-Amanda brought 7 friends to young adults, 5 were first-timers!
Sub Point:

2017 Hints: Resist the “Back to Egypt” urges.
Pray for wisdom in the complexity.
Engage in the adventure.
Main Point:

We will navigate a Godly growth spurt by:

#2 Declaring a focus.
Sub Point:

2017 is about more Bible and increased Prayer.
Questions:

1. What is my next step?

2. Do I have a growth area?

You can give online, through our SecureGive App, in the offering boxes, and at the Giving Center Kiosk in the Atrium

We don't pass a plate for tithes and offerings here at Vineyard, but we do believe that giving back to Jesus through our finances is an important act of our worship.
