A. God calls all generations to work together…
1. There is great value in an inter-generational church!
Millennials: 1981-1997
Generation X: 1965-1980
The Baby Boomers: 1946-1964
The Silent Generation: 1928-1945
The Greatest Generation: Before 1928
2. Generations need one another. We need examples and teachers – older to the younger!
3. Generations see life differently.
4. Generations live life differently.
Titus 2:3 NLT
B. Each respective group has been given lifestyle expectations…
1. Older men – Self-control, respect, live wisely, have sound faith, full of love and patience.
2. Older women – Honor God, do not slander others, or be heavy drinkers, teaching others to do good, and modeling the good behavior.
3. Younger women – Love their husbands and children, live wisely, be pure, work in their homes, do good and respect their husbands.
4. Younger men – Live wisely, follow the example in doing good works, integrity and seriousness, and live the truth.
5. Slaves (Employees) – Model obedience, respect, and integrity in the workplace. Let your employers see that you are trustworthy and good.
C. The expectations are for all generations…

1. As the Christian message and the Christian life must be the same.

2. As the Christian message must be based on biblical principles that will not change or be lost in culture.

3. As the Christian life must make the Christian message attractive.

D. God’s grace has been given to all…

1. To free us from sin.
2. To cleanse us from sin.
3. To give us belonging.
4. To equip all of us to do good in our world!
