1. Everyone of us are on a spiritual growth continuum.
2. There are “thresholds of scary” that every one of us must face along the way.
3. We know we have hit a threshold of scary because it will manifest outwardly.
4. The moment of stepping across the threshold of scary is where brokenness begins.
Brokenness - “Any moment when we are confronted with the Reality of who we truly are.”
5. In order to get from the threshold of scary to where we want to be requires a deep work of the spirit and a season of brokenness.
3 Phases to a Season of Brokenness:
1. Grieve – Conviction. (“Wash your Hands…”)
1. Grieve – Conviction. (“Wash your Hands…”)
2. Mourn – Confession. (“Purify your Hearts…”)
3. Wail – Consecration. (“You Double-Minded…”)
6. If we don’t embrace brokenness & step across the threshold of scary, we will begin moving in the other direction.
7. Which brings us to a Choice… Embrace Brokenness or Run away from it.
