Introduction
Bible Study Hint: Look for words that are repeated!
The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. 14 For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.

Read Ecclesiastes 3:1-13
Read I Kings 3:3-15
Solomon asked for a discerning heart and it pleased God. Why is wisdom and discernment so important in decision making in life? What’s one decision you’ve had to make that you thought would go a one direction only to turn and go the opposite.
Solomon wrote, “He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.” Do you think all people throughout all time and in all cultures have all had a sense that there is life after death, or a god of some kind in heaven, or a fate after death to go to either heaven or hell?
How do you find purpose in the seasons of life?
Discuss each season below and very briefly describe how you’ve gone through that season and how the Biblical theme helped you or would have helped you cope with the emotion of the season and if you were able to take advantage of each opportunity:

Family Time: Use II Cor. 5:17 to explain to your kids how Jesus makes us new by giving us new abilities like being a new creature to love people, service people, be patient with people, share joy with people. Help them understand where they are growing spiritually and how God is building them! Ask them, “If you could change anything and have a Jesus super power what would you do?”
