Magi = Wise Men (astrology, medicine, and natural science)
They came from the East (Persia/Babylon)
Either Jew or very familiar with the Jews.

They experienced JOY in meeting their King.

They Worshipped their King.

They Gave Generously to their King.
God = Royalty = He is King.

frankincense = anointing oil = He is our Priest
myrrh = embalming fluid = He is a Savior
frankincense and myrrh had medicinal value
the 3 gifts had great monetary value

They obeyed their King.

Wise men and women make Jesus their King.
