We need your help today after second service to help move tables, chairs and book cases out of the areas to be carpeted. Please head to the Overflow room after second service where Kim and Todd Porter will be providing direction on what is needed.
Time for the Christmas Choir!
It is time to start preparing for our Christmas Eve services. If you would like to participate as a choir member (for everyone age 13yrs and up), sign up on your connection card or email Kim@HitTheRiver.com. Rehearsals will be Monday, December 12 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, December 18 at 6:30 pm. Don’t forget to include your email and vocal part. Deadline to sign up is December 11.
Angel Tree
As part of our continued outreach to those in need, The River Church is helping provide Christmas for families through Interfaith Hospitality. Stop by the Angel Tree that will be located in the cafe and sign out a gift tag.
The purchased gift should be wrapped and have two name tags: a permanent one with the recipient’s name and the original tag, then place the gift under the Angel Tree by December 18. For more information contact Christy Bucher at 513-477-1077.
We are also putting together laundry baskets filled with day to day items for these families. We greatly appreciate donations of any of the following items:

Festival of Lights - River Youth Trip
Our student ministry is concluding the year by going to Cincinnati Zoo’s Festival of Lights on Sunday, December 18. This is a great moment for students in 6th-12th grade to invite their friends out for a fun event. The cost is $15 which covers travel to and from the Zoo as well as admission into the Festival of Lights. Upcoming Women’s Bible Study
Breaking Free, The Journey, The Stories by Beth Moore. This study will take us through the Scriptures to discover the transforming power of freedom in Jesus Christ. Themes for this study come from Isaiah, a book about the captivity of God’s children, the faithfulness of God, and the road to freedom. The study will start on Tuesday, January 10, and will last for 11 weeks. The morning class will be 9:30am-11:30am and the evening class will be from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm. Decide to make a New Year’s resolution that will guarantee you the “freedom” that will change your life forever.
Volunteers Needed
