Infinitely More
Through supernatural miracles, Jesus reveals His compassion, authority, power, and desire to see you and me accomplish infinitely more when His power is at work within us.

Ephesians 3:20

Matthew 9:33

Feeding of the Five Thousand
Of the thirty-seven miracles of Jesus recorded in our Bible, one of the most familiar is the feeding of the five thousand. Other than the resurrection of Jesus, this is the only miracle recorded by all four Gospel writers (Matthew 14; Mark 6; Luke 9; John 6).

John 6:1-10

John 6:11-13

Lesson #1 - Don't let problems outside of your control stop you from being used by God.
A. The timing of the miracle (feeding of the five thousand).

John 6:1

John 5:16-18

John 5:16-18
1. The Jews persecuted Jesus to try to stop him from ministering to others.
2. Jesus refuses to let the problem stop him from ministering to others.
3. But instead of the situation getting better- the problem just gets worse
Perseverance means we continue to minister to others even as God ministers to us.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Lesson #2 - Jesus already knows the need.

John 6:5

John 6:5
Jesus asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.
Lesson #3 - Don't let what you don't have stop you from being used by God.

John 6:7

John 6:8-9

1 Corinthians 1:26-29

When the disciples began helping Jesus to feed the five thousand, each disciple did so with a nearly empty basket.
- 5 loaves and 2 fishes were divided between 12 disciples
- Each basket had 1/6 of a fish and less than half of a loaf of bread

John 6:13

Instead of starting out full and finishing empty, God wants us to start out empty and finish full.
Lesson #4 - Jesus knows the answer.

John 6:6

John 6:8-11

John 6:12-13

Jesus already knows your need. Jesus already has the answer and His answer is always more than enough!
Lesson #5 - Jesus uses what you have to perform the miracle.

John 6:8-11

John 6:12-13

Lesson #6 - Jesus uses those who are ready.
Your obedient "yes" to Jesus could be the "yes" to someone else's miracle.

Matthew 19:26

Infinitely More
- Don’t let problems that are outside your control stop you from ministering to others.
- Don’t allow what you do not have from stopping you from starting a ministry to others.
