CommUnity Group Discussion Questions:

Based on last week’s teaching:
1) What are reasons we are to have no other gods before the one true God?
2) In light of Colossians 3:23, describe the various ways you worship God in your daily life.

Based on this week’s teaching:
For all of these questions, keep in mind that the Body of Christ is the church, which is comprised of all true believers regardless of their denominational affiliations.
3) Why is it hard to maintain unity within the church?
4) What builds up the church? What tears it down?
5) Do most churches operate on an Old Testament model or a New Testament model? What are the differences between the two?
6) If a church operates on an Old Testament model, how does it stymie spiritual growth in the body and exhaust the church pastors and staff?
7) What are your spiritual gifts? Ask others what gifts they see in you?
8) How are you employing your gifts within the church and outside the church?
