Many times people wonder, “Where can I serve?” The honest answer is you can serve right where you are! Get to work. Dig-in and see how God can use you in your home, your church and community. Look for how to serve where God has placed you at the moment. This weekend, we are going to be challenging everyone to get involved...you can make an IMPACT! The message will be shorter because at the end of the sermon, our ministries leaders will share for one or two minutes how you can get involved in the different ministries at Hickory Valley. Then, after the service, they will be in foyer, where you can sign up to...make an impact! See you tomorrow.

New Church-Wide Study: Experiencing God
Most Bible studies help people. This one changes them forever. Actually, God changes people. For more than 16 years, He’s used Experiencing God to help. This study shows believers how to know God<br>intimately, and encourages them to step out in faith and join Him in His work—with miraculous results. The revised study contains many examples: from Angola Prison inmates earning seminary degrees to the spiritual and economic rebirth of a poor Appalachian community.<br>These testimonies are truly amazing, but God has more work to do. Will you join him?<br><br>We will break this 12 week study into three 4-week studies over the course of the next ten months. You are going to want to be a part of this life-changing study. The first session begins October 2.

REACH Sunday
We are asking everyone at Hickory Valley to invite someone you join you for a special day called “Reach”. Our special guests will be Tim Coalter, North American Presbyter for the Churches of God of Prophecy, and Mountain Cove Bluegrass. We will have lunch after the service in the Family Life Center. It’s going to be a great day! Why don’t you take advantage of the opportunity to invite your family and friends to join us!
Pre-School Crafts and Story-Telling
We are beginning a new Pre-School opportunity for our children. On October 12, at 10:00 am, Ceren Stone will lead a time for crafts, story-time, and snacks for pre-school children. It will be conducted in the Children’s Ministries area. You must pre-register by October 5 to participate so that the proper supplies may be obtained.
Online Bible Studies
Did you know that because you attend Hickory Valley Community Church, you have access to thousands of relevant Bible studies from today’s most prominent teachers and ministers? You also have access to hundreds of children’s programming. And it is all completely free. All you have to do is register. 2nd Sunday Serve
We are starting a new project to provide good stewardship of our campus. Called 2nd Saturday Serve, we will meet to do different small tasks on our campus. We will begin the project on October 8, at 9:00-11:30 am. The more hands available, the more we can get done. See Michael Stone for more details on how you can be involved.
Wedding Shower
There will be a wedding shower today, 2:00 pm, in the Fellowship Hall for Hunter Brittingham and Emily Bevels. They are registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Sears, or they have a Honey Fund on their website. You can find the website by going to the church’s Facebook page.
Stay In The Loop
